Expedition

Providing customized, guided "you-fly" expeditions into The Northland of Alaska and Canada.  This is where some of the last true wilderness on earth still exists.  We may experience:

• sightings of animals such as bears, moose, caribou, dall sheep, whales, and walrus.

• rugged terrain including gigantic glaciers, braided rivers, and many of the tallest mountains in the world by relief.

• self-reliant camp life with delicious foods paired to the red wine sunset vistas.

• hot springs.

• historic infrastructure such as abandoned gold dredges and trapper's cabins.

• authentic native and local rural cultures.

• solitude punctuated by wind and raven.

These adventures are suitable for tailwheel airplanes equipped with larger tires and other Alaska modifications.  Although pilots will already be competent in tailwheel, the off field course is a required prerequisite.  See Instruction page.  See also Resources page, "Shaun Lunt (remembered)" for a sense of this type of adventure.
